The Institute for International Connections
About IIC
The Mission
The mission of The Institute for International Connections is to provide links, partnerships, programs and opportunities which lead to the development of strong cross-cultural networks in which human service providers can
•illuminate their practice;
•contribute to the healing process often required by individuals, families, and communities;
•learn from each other about recovery from oppression, trauma, and war;
•enlarge their knowledge of the global community; and
•explore the transfer of effective social strategies from one country to another, through direct experience.
The Vision
IIC envisions the creation of a better world and a richer life for individuals and societies as a result of cross-cultural learning and collaboration.
